Hey everyone,

I'm Ryan, I'm currently at university studying to become a programmer but I'm taking a double-degree so I'm also working on the art side as well.

I've been interested in Unity for years but never had the skills to jump in, now I feel I do as I'm a fairly skilled programmer now.

I've worked with the not-unity Engine on a few simple projects in my spare time but found it was too complex so I'm making the switch to Unity of which I'm currently working on a tower defence game (which if anyone is interested in I'd be happy to start sharing my code).

I'm a massive gamer and constantly up-to-date with all the latest news about games so if you're passionate too I'd love to talk.

I'm ready to jump in on any project I'd be welcome. Tell me more about this tower defense. First of all what language are you using? I've been working with C# the whole time I've been using Unity, but have a little experience with Java as well, its been years though.

I had a half finished prototype of a hex tiled, turn based, tower defense, but gave up on it when I realized a turn based tower defense isn't all that much fun, lol. So I do have a little experience in TD games.

Do you have plans for what platform(s) you want it on?

I'm sure I have more questions but I won't bombard you with them since all I know is its a TD.

Edit: Forgot to mention, found this on reddit. Your post pretty much described what I have spent the last month looking for. I was surprised no one else from there posted here, considering the response.

Well I don't plan on releasing it so just PC but if I fell more in love with it I might consider others.

Yeah I got an amazing response on reddit but no-one has joined these forums yet despite a lot of interest

As to the lack of response here compared to on Reddit: I happened to stumble back to your thread on a whim and happened to notice that you had put a link to this forum. Otherwise I wasn't notified. It could be that the other people who showed interested weren't notified either. Have you tried sending a PM around?
