Hi everyone. My name is Jerri and I have done freelance 3D art and animation for the last 4 years. It has mostly been for broadcast television, which has been cool and all, but not as rewarding as I imagine video games to be, since it is something I am truly passionate about--it's hard to be passionate about crappy animations made for tv shows that air for 1 season and then are scrapped because the show sucks. With that rant over, a little about my experience with Unity and game-making: not much. I am more dedicated to the 3d art side than the programming, which is why I don't get very far with tutorials and such. I love the idea of making my own games, but in practice it's a lot harder to get myself motivated to do. I have tentatively "started" a game of my own, with a couple people collaborating on it, but it hasn't gotten very far out of the planning stage. We have a game design doc, some concept art and a story writer, but it's lagging since we have no programmer (and I'm not very well suited to learning programming). So, if I can supply some art for someone else's project and learn about the other stuff hands-on, I think that would work better for me. Here is my online portfolio if you're interested in what I've done in the past.

Hey Jerri, nice to have a 3D artist (mostly seem to have programmers so far!) If you mean these children's shows that are 3D, I understand you, I much prefer the high-quality 2D ones of my childhood! I had a look at your portfolio, I'm quite jealous, I'm still learning 3DS Max and can't make anything nice like you can yet. Welcome!
